Weekly Senator

Weekly Senator is a voter education and donation platform from Downtown for Democracy that offers members—for $2 and 2 minutes per week—a new way to help win ongoing Democratic control of the Senate. Designed and developed by CHIPS with Christian Perez, the app allows members to edit their donation to the weekly featured candidate or redirect their funds to one of a select group of non-profit partner organizations.

The current week's candidate occupies the homepage of the site.
An email annouces each week's candidate. From the homepage, members can keep their recurring donation or 'opt-out' and redirect their contribution to one of five nonprofits.
Account management shows user's weekly donation amount
…and their donation history.
